My friend Jessie (David Duchovny) just texted me that she made eye contact with Kevin Bacon at the airport. That’s all well and good, but once I was sitting in the airport and a bunch of musicians sat down next to me and started talking about jamming and festivals and one of them referred to the other as Medeski. So I texted my Phish Head friend Jon, “There are a bunch of jam band dudes next to me and one of them is named Medeski, who is this?” And immediately he was all, “Only MEDESKI, MARTIN AND WOOD.” Check and MATE, Jess. Sarah: 1 Jess: Bacon. I was also just watching Eastbound & Down Season 2 and this song, “Let’s Go Everywhere” (from their kids album-cute!) plays in that great scene where Kenny and his dad are riding all terrain vehicles (ATV’s if you’re nasty) with a bunch of tourists. And then they have this conversation.
